Christine Wong, CPM, Designs Purchasing Management Course at Gainesville State College

Establish Inc’s procurement and sourcing principal, Christine Wong, has developed a purchasing management course for the Division of Continuing Education at Georgia’s Gainesville State College. The course will run from September to December 2007 and meets weekly.

The new program is designed for purchasing professionals who are preparing to the take the C.P.M exam and for those aspiring to earn a 36-hour “Certificate in Purchasing Management”. The course covers 4 modules: Purchasing Process, Supply Environment, Value Enhancement Strategies, and Management. The Certificate of Purchasing Management from the College will be awarded to the successful graduates of all four modules.

Christine heads the procurement and sourcing practice at Establish and helps clients assess their procurement organizations to diagnose weaknesses, transform tactical procurement groups into strategic value added departments, and conduct strategic sourcing initiatives.
